About Us

Hi!  I’m Linda Wolfe.  My husband Tim and I moved to Rancho California in 1989, just before the town became incorporated and was renamed to Temecula.  We were newlyweds and housing was not affordable in San Diego where we were living.  After having a family, we were living two blocks from Pechanga Casino which started as a white party tent.  Feeling it was too close to home, we began looking for a lot we could build on in Wine Country.  We found a lot and it looked unbuildable. Linda’s dad is a civil engineer and said, “I know what I can do with that lot.” Also a general contractor, he offered to do the engineering and build the house for us for cost so we could afford the house. At the age of 70, he and another worker did most of the work themselves. The house has so much sentimental value because it’s a home my father built for me with his own hands.

Don Lander, my dad who made our home possible.

Tim and I have a great love for Hawaii.  We tried to make our pool area as close to Hawaii as we could, planting tropical looking plants that can survive a hard frost.  We love sharing our “Ohana” with our guests.  We have had guests from all over the world and have made many friends with people who have stayed in our home. Come an enjoy the pool, summer nights under the palapas, our beautiful wineries and everything Temecula has to offer!
